Servo Positioning System for a Vacuum Casting Mold Application
Positioning a casting mold inside a vacuum chamber introduced a set of constraints most servo applications never face — corona arcing, thermal management without convection, and integration with an existing Rockwell PLC. AMS engineered a servo positioning system that solved all three within a single drive platform.
